Vegan Mango Pistachio Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 Mangoes ripe, choose soft, sweet-smelling mangoes
  • 1/4 cup Pistachios shelled, unshelled are fine; adjust amount to your preference
  • 1/2 cup Plant-based milk experiment with almond, soy, or oat milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sweetener use maple syrup, agave, or chopped dates

Instructions
 

  • Wash the mangoes, cut them in half, remove the pit, and chop the mango flesh into chunks. Smaller chunks blend better.
  • Measure out ¼ cup of shelled pistachios. If using unshelled pistachios, shell them first.
  • Measure out ½ cup of plant-based milk and 1-2 tablespoons of your chosen sweetener.
  • Put the frozen mango chunks in the blender first. Then, add the pistachios, plant-based milk, and sweetener.
  • Start on a low speed and slowly increase to high. Blend until completely smooth. If too thick, add more milk. If too thin, add more frozen mango.
